Blood Orange Syrup Cakes

I was drawn to these little syrup cakes from Donna Hay’s Modern Baking book. Using semolina flower and fresh blood orange.

The focus behind this shoot was to go for technical perfection with a focus on shooting with my Nikkor 105mm micro lens.

Who doesn’t love drips (the money shot).
